At age 45, after a lifetime of being fascinated by design and a business career in marketing, I reinvented myself as a jewellery designer. It began as a means of self-expression. Often I would see jewellery designs in magazines and shops that I thought would benefit from some tweaking and I loved the idea of creating one-of-a-kind pieces. In 2005, I learned the basics of making beaded jewellery and I was hooked. Friends and family were very enthusiastic about the results of my new passion and Screaming Peacock Jewellery was born.
